It's the most wonderful time of the year! No, not Christmas. It's Halloween! There are so many beautiful names for this holiday: Halloween, All Hallow's Eve, All Saint's Eve, Begger's Night, and Samhain. No matter what you call it, Samhain is the best holiday in the world. Fight me.
Every year I love to pile on the blankets and settle in front of the television for a Samhain movie marathon. This year I'm starting a little late. (Thanks a lot Covid!) However, I'm not going to let it get me down. I'm spending this entire weekend in the mysterious and wonderful world of witches, vampires, and ghouls, Oh my! Thus began my efforts to track down all the fun movies and compile a complete list for myself. But what fun would there be to hoarding all this spooky goodness? I'm happy to share.
I've tried to corral them into certain categories to make it easier for everyone to find the perfect film. Some of the movies overlap and belong to multiple categories. But overall there are exactly 98 Individual movies on my list. There's more than that since I grouped series such as Harry Potter and Friday the 13th anthologies, but who's counting? Also, please keep in mind that these are movies only. I did not include television shows. Let's get started, witches!
